The last two weeks have been very intense and full of excitement for the Life Cycle Team. Manuel and Valentina’s took part for their first time at the Trans Provence that have been very special that has left an indelible mark in the hearts of our riders, facing an epic race across through Provence and its Alps, the breathtaking views and trails leaving them without words, in a race format quite unlike anything else!

Manuel left for the Trans Provence with a fever and sore throat and so had no great ambitions with regards a result, but  he regained his strength day after day, finishing with a solid 5th place in the overall standings! Valentina finished in a strong ninth position in her first event of this type – another solid result in such a different race format.

Just four days after the Trans Provence and just over 100 miles away it was time to start over again for Finale Ligure, the last leg of the EWS, a place that is still one of the most amazing places to host an event of this type and in particular the grand finale!

A summer weekend characterized the weather this year, giving both amateur riders and professionals a magical atmosphere worthy of a city that needs no introduction.

Manuel started out determined to close a difficult season in a positive way, but had to stop due to an impact that affected his ankle, still recovering from being broken earlier in the season and that meant he couldn’t continue to ride safely.

Among the girls a large group of riders dropped out at the start, Valentina fought to the end, gaining positions strongly throughout the race, resulting in a solid 13th place overall.

Thus ends a fantastic season which saw our riders take part in the most important international events, tackling tough challenges and injuries always with a smile and determination, aware of having lived an incredible experience!
